Any other students’ grades not posted? Isn't today the deadline? My student still has one class with no final grade posted. I'm hoping it will post by midnight?
It is not unusual for some students' final grades at UC San Diego (UCSD) to remain unposted by the deadline of 11:59 p.m. today, December 16, 2025. While instructors are required to submit grades by this time, processing delays can occur, causing grades to be unavailable immediately.
Checking for Missing Grades
If your student is unable to see their final grade, they can check the following resources:
- TritonLink Academic History: This is the primary tool for viewing official grades.
- Late Grades Report: Available on TritonLink, this report indicates if an instructor has not yet submitted a grade.
- Degree Audit: Running a Degree Audit on TritonLink can provide real-time updates as grades are finalized.
- Grades submitted by the deadline typically become visible between 1:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. on December 17.
- Note that December 17 is designated as an "unavailable" date for processing, meaning no new grades can be entered or changed until December 18.
Under FERPA regulations, UCSD cannot release grades to parents; students must log into their own TritonLink accounts to check their grades.
