my student had a shaky fall (missed deadlines more than content). For Winter Quarter, what are the actual UCSD resources (academic coaching, tutoring, workshops, study skills) and what’s the ‘order of operations’ to access them? Like who do they contact first, and is it realistic to get help in Week 1? Really appreciate any advice here!!
To support your student in recovering from a shaky fall, UCSD provides several academic resources that can be accessed immediately in Winter Quarter.
Academic Coaching The Student Success Coaching Program offers personalized support for time management and goal setting. Students can also access 1:1 coaching through the IDEA Center specifically for engineering students Source 2).
