When do transfer admissions come out? We are patiently waiting!

As you await the transfer admission decisions, it's important to note that UC San Diego (UCSD) will announce these decisions by April 30, 2026. You will be able to view your admission status through the UCSD Applicant Portal, for which you should have received login credentials via email in mid-December.

Next Steps After Admission

If you are admitted, you will need to complete several important steps to secure your enrollment:

  • Accept Your Offer: Submit your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) through the Applicant Portal by June 1, 2026.
  • Housing Application: Ensure you apply for housing by June 7, 2026, to benefit from the two-year housing guarantee.
  • Submit Official Documents: Final transcripts are due by July 1, 2026, and test scores must be submitted by July 15, 2026.
If Waitlisted or Not Admitted
  • If you are placed on the waitlist, opt-in via the portal by May 15, 2026, with final notifications by July 31, 2026.
  • Appeals for admission can be submitted by May 9, 2026, if you have new academic information to present.
