I thought our numerical PID was our ID for Delta Dental but when I tried to log on via the app following the UCSHIP dental instructions it didn’t work. Tried calling the UCSHIP phone number but no one picked up. Please help!

It seems there may be some confusion regarding your Delta Dental login credentials. For UC SHIP members, the Delta Dental ID is typically derived from your Anthem Blue Cross Member ID, which does not include the 'XDP' prefix.

Correct Your Enrollee ID

  • If your Anthem ID is XDP123456789, you should use 123456789 for your Delta Dental login.
  • Alternatively, if the Anthem ID does not work, you might try using your Social Security Number (without dashes).
Use the Right App or Website

The standard Delta Dental app may not be suitable for UC SHIP members. Instead, you should:

  • Register at the dedicated Delta Dental UC SHIP Portal: deltadentalins.com/ucship.
  • Use the Sydney Health App, which is the official app for UC SHIP, to access your medical and dental coverage information.
