Anywhere my daughter can get masks for free on the Hill? Do they still hand them out at the front desks
While UCLA's central COVID-19 mask distribution program has concluded, students can still access free masks at several designated locations on campus.
Available Locations
- John Wooden Center: Provides disposable masks for students who need them.
- Basic Needs Center: Located in the basement of the Student Activities Center (Room B54), this center offers hygiene supplies, including masks, at no cost.
- Arthur Ashe Student Health & Wellness Center: Features mask dispensers and may provide N95 masks during high-risk periods.
- UCLA Emergency PPE Supply Store: Primarily for employees, but available for those needing specialized protection.
As of July 2024, the policy for stocking masks at all building front desks has ended. However, some residence halls and departmental offices may still have limited supplies available upon request. Notably, major libraries like the Young Research Library may also maintain supplies for student use. Students should carry their BruinCard for verification when collecting masks at these locations.
