Is there a legit archive of old midterms/practice exams at UCLA, or is it mostly student shared? Trying to help my son prep early
UCLA provides a reliable resource for students seeking past midterms and practice exams via the CPO Exam Database managed by the Community Programs Office (CPO). This database is digitized and contains previously administered exams, finals, and papers.
Access Details
- Location: Student Activities Center (SAC), Suite 105.
- Eligibility: Open to all UCLA students with a BruinCard.
- Requirements: Students must submit a previously graded exam, essay, or course material to gain access for a quarter. New students typically receive a free grace period during their first quarter.
- Process: Students can make a 5-minute appointment to browse materials on an iPad and select up to 5 exams to print, usually for a small fee (e.g., 10 cents per page).
Some departments also maintain their own archives:
- UCLA Law: Past Exams Database accessible via the MyLaw portal.
- Tau Beta Pi (Engineering): Test bank available, though often restricted to members.
