HELP US PLEASE - Do we need to submit a transcript directly from my daughter's hs to OSU or is the one sent through common app okay because it says "incomplete" on her osu application portal for the hs transcript section rn...also does osu require mid-year reports or is there a way to submit them?
To clarify your concerns regarding transcript submission to Ohio State University (OSU):
Transcript Submission
The high school transcript sent through the Common App is acceptable for the initial application review; however, it may take up to 10 business days for the status to update in the application portal. If the status remains 'incomplete' after this period, it is advisable to follow up with OSU. Ultimately, an official final transcript must be sent directly from the high school upon admission and before the start of the term.
Mid-Year Reports
OSU does not require mid-year reports as part of the application process. If there are significant changes in your daughter's academic record, her school counselor can submit an optional letter of recommendation or additional information through the Common App or via email to ugdocs@osu.edu.
For further assistance, you can check the application status and any outstanding items in her Applicant Center.
