Does seacliff have any summer classes or ways for students to get ahead? eg honors tracks outside of school, etc
Huntington Seacliff Elementary provides several summer programs aimed at enrichment and academic support, rather than formal honors tracks for elementary students.
Available Summer Programs
- Discovery Camp: A hands-on enrichment program featuring weekly themes and STEAM activities, scheduled from early July to early August 2026.
- Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP): Free summer enrichment for qualified TK-6th grade students, offering at least 30 non-instructional days of care and learning.
- Remedial/Supportive Summer School: Recommended for students needing to meet grade-level standards before promotion.
- On-Campus YMCA: Offers educational activities in math, science, and technology along with homework support during the summer.
While formal honors tracks typically begin at the middle school level, elementary students can utilize digital resources during the summer, such as ALEKS for math and Accelerated Reader, to maintain and advance their skills. For more information, families can check the HBCSD Educational Services page for summer flyers and enrollment details.
