If my daughter's commuter permit isn’t processed yet, where do students park the first week without getting tickets? thanks
If your daughter's commuter permit is not yet processed, she can park in designated visitor parking areas to avoid receiving tickets during the first week of classes.
Visitor Parking Options
Students can use the following visitor parking facilities:
- Tempe Campus Garages: Apache Boulevard, Fulton Center, Rural Road, Stadium, and Tyler Street garages offer daily parking.
- Tempe Campus Lots: Lot 59, Lot 3, and Lot 45 are available for daily paid parking.
- Polytechnic & West Valley: Use the AMP Park app for parking in Lot 6 or Lot 10.
- Downtown Phoenix: Health North Lot and University Center II Lot are also options.
Steps to Resolve Permit Issues
If the permit is delayed, consider the following actions:
- Check My Transportation Account: Verify the permit status and ensure the correct license plate is registered.
- Contact Parking and Transportation Services (PTS): For assistance, visit the PTS office or contact them via phone at 480-965-6124 or email at parking@asu.edu. They may provide a temporary permit if needed.
